BalletGirl has been asking for a while to get her hair cut and every time we settle down to do it something comes up. Well, yesterday I told her I was going to chop her hair if she didn't get it out of her eyes. She replied, "Really? You'll cut my hair if I leave it like this and then I can get bangs?" This told me there was no hope, the girl obviously wanted them badly.
Grabbing my scissors, water and a brush we sat down and started to do it. Course her hair was all one length, I hated to cut it. What does she do at the very end? She moved...well I can't fix it but she LOVES it. I think it'll take getting use to it. Here she is as a before and after. By the way her bangs are parting weird, I guess it is because she always parted her hair this way and it was trained. She isn't entirely sure now but I yesterday she LOVED it.

I think Jessie has grown her bangs out about 3 or 4 times now. She gets tired of them and lets them grow out, and then she gets tired of no bangs and we cut them again. At least her hair grows fast:) She looks cute with bangs...

She looks cute! I bet it's a little cowlick there. As her bangs get longer, they will be heavier and hang straighter. I hope she enjoys her bangs. D:) <--- smiley with bangs.
