I was sent a box of “Florastor and FlorastorKids” from Laura at Robin Leedy & Associates,Inc which probably came at the perfect time since we’ve had that tummy bug going around. For those that don’t know here is some info on FlorastorKids:
Antibiotics are necessary to treat bacterial infections like strep throat or ear infections, but they are not without side effectsThe kids have each tried this and they’ve all stated (except the younger because he doesn’t understand that) that they can’t even taste it. The two girls both stated that it smelled like vanilla, I’m unsure exactly what they meant but they gulped down their drinks and went about playing. My 2-year-old had his mixed in his milk and never seemed to notice.
. One out of five people taking antibiotics will suffer from antibiotic-associated diarrhea, or AAD.
One way to help protect your tummy from AAD is to try a probiotic supplement like Florastor and Florastor Kids, which have been clinically proven to help prevent and manage AAD. Florastor and Florastor Kids contain a beneficial yeast called Saccharomyces boulardii (S. boulardii) that helps repopulate your tummy with good microorganisms that protect against AAD. Because Florastor contains a yeast probiotic, it won’t be killed off by antibiotics like bacterial probiotics will be.
Florastor comes in a capsule, and Florastor Kids, which is safe to use in children as young as 2 months, is a powder, so it can be mixed into formula, juice, soft foods like applesauce, etc.
The one for kids is more like a mix that is poured into their drink. Not a pill. This is not for people allergic to yeast! This is good for those that go on antibiotics and get the tummy ache that follows from time to time and leads to many messes for mom to clean up (bowels). It acts like a protective coating in the intestines and helps out. The best part is once you or your child drinks this it’ll begin working within 30 minutes.

I think I’d prefer the blister pack. My kids are a little older and will swallow things
