Norton 360 2.0 Blog Tour
I've downloaded the program and it's already speeding up my computer. Honestly I was afraid that it might slow it down as other antivirus programs have done that in the past, but it didn't.
Norton 360 2.0 comes with:
Live Updates
PC Security- which means you'll be protecting even when you don't think about it
Identity Protection- Feel free to shop online or do your banking or pay bills without someone sneaking a peek at your passwords.
Backup- something every writer/blogger/etc should have. I swear I've wanted to throw this computer off the balcony every time my computer shuts off on its own and I lose everything. Now it'll save the stuff you were working on and when you sign back on it'll ask if you want to retrieve it.
PC Tuneup- No longer will you have to wait for it to automatically do updates or scan for viruses. You can actually surf the web, answer emails or hold a conference while it does it in the background.
Support- there is always someone there to help you when you need it. You don't have to wait until working hours.
Oh and to show you, as I was typing this I was also scanning my computer and I didn't get booted, it didn't freeze up and it was really quick. Does your computer get really slow? Hard time loading? If you find yourself having these issues you might have a virus. I highly recommend the Norton 360, I did have the regular Norton but this is by far better. It just does everything for you, okay but it doesn't give you chocolates, but that's not a reason not to get it.
To purchase your own go to www.symantec.com and view what's best for your computer. The Norton 360 2.0 is an "everything in one" type and is definitely worth it.

SimplyMobile Mom & Contest

Okay, ya'll know I like to list contests, it wouldn't be me if I didn't. (Besides this week but that was due to my other site getting shut down, contest days are coming back)
SimplyMobile Mom is basically one way to send writing to your phone to look at later. Hey, this would be perfect for me, it would give me time in the bathroom, on the road or in a quiet place to read away from the kids. You are also able to share your info with family and friends via your phone and you can send stuff to it. Hey you can even check your email using your phone. The sign up is simple and you can get started right away.
Example: I know that my kids are going to be home half day next week and instead of them being bored I want to find them some activities. I go and look at familyfun.com and see a fun activity, only problem is I don't have the material but will be going to the store later. Highlight the text and click send to SimplyMobile Mom.
Now I can take a peek at what I need as I shop. No more writing it all down just to lose it before I enter the store. Hey, I'm not going to lose my cell. For added fun you can download a few plugins for it: Cellfire, Accuweather, yahoomail, gmail and microsoft Outlook.
Sounds like every mother's daily planner in a phone, just think of it as a mobile internet that helps you become SuperMom.
SimplyMobile Mom is also having a contest where you can actually win a 8gb Apple iPhone and 2-years of service from AT&T. Want to win? Hurry over to the site and check out the details. The contest began April 21 and ends May 19th, so you still have time.

Another Beautiful Day
Silence really is bliss.
A Plumm Summer Movie Review

This weekend a new movie is hitting theaters, but only a select few. If you are in the following areas you really should see this movie. Not only is it a family movie but it is a kid movie. I give it an A+ in my book and that is rare.
Why such a high score? Okay, first this movie is great for the younger kids, my daughters loved it. For them it was a movie about a puppet that goes missing at an event and the entire town begins searching for Froggy Doo. Many young children, especially 5-year-old Rocky believes he is a real frog living in the pumpkin patch. So, when he goes missing he expects his teen brother, Elliot, to find him.
My son, who's just entering that preteen stage, by this I mean he's really starting to look at girls and gets the whole, "I like her" feeling loved the movie. Not only did he get to try to figure out who did it and where Froggy Doo went but watch as a boy tried to impress a girl.
For us adults, A Plumm Summer is another meaning in the movie as we watch the parents struggle through a hardship and try to figure out life. For myself, my family is going through an addiction of sorts, while it may not be alcohol it shows tough situations that some go through and watch as this mom tries helping her husband but finally standing up for her kids.
Don't think this is just a comedy or a family (happy) movie. This movie will make your tears flow, even if you aren't much for crying. By the time this movie ended there wasn't a dry eye in the house. We cheered on the threesome (Elliot, Rocky and Haley) will begin a search for Froggy Doo. The three hang out at Herb (Henry Winkler) and Vic's house while they investigate, getting to know Herb more.
For SoccerBoy he loves it as he is currently reading a series of books written by Henry Winkler. But he also loved comparing the movie to life. I really do hope you'll go watch this movie, it's become a favorite in our house, in fact the kids watch it once every other day. Now I just need to find my own Froggy Doo. Are there any out there?
Catch the premiere of A Plumm Summer. This movie opens up this weekend, TODAY actually, so make sure you don't miss it. Let it
Locations: MN, AL, and CA, I'll be posting exact locations a bit later.

Lice MD Strikes Back!
As a child I got this and as many of you know I have REALLY thick hair and lets just say it wasn't fun. It took hours, upon hours for them to look through my hair and boy did it hurt. Before they were done combing through it with that cold, metal comb I was begging for them to shave my hair all off so I'd never have to go through it again. When asked what I'd do about hair I replied, "I don't care, I'll buy a wig and never get lice again!"
Here's a myth for you: Lice only strikes those with dirty hair. This is NOT true, it strikes those with shiny, clean hair and those with oily, dirty hair. Lice, or nits don't care where they find a home as long as they can suck out your blood and lay more eggs. Gross right?
Well the two older ones got that message the same time MomCentral asked me if I'd like a chance to review "LiceMD" I jumped at the chance. Since it's been so many years without worrying about it and suddenly I get that awful note I had to do something. I mean what if they did get it? This way I'd be able to stop it as soon as I saw it and not wait until the hubby isn't at work or college to buy the stuff and the bugs to jump on everyone else.
The box came in the mail a few days later, it looks like a small box of medicine you'd buy at the store. Inside is a small, plastic (not metal) a sheet of instructions with a $1 coupon attached and the bottle of lice shampoo. It goes over step-by-step on how to eliminate head lice. (with pictures) The LiceMD is pesticide free and pediatrician tested. (4fl oz bottle) Thankfully I haven't had to use it, but it'll stay right here in my living room until I do.
Symptoms of Head Lice:
- itchy scalp
- seeing bugs jump
- notice tiny eggs (looks like white dirt)
- feel something moving on the top of your scalp
Now if you feel your scalp itching suddenly keep in mind you just read this. Ikk. But if you aren't sure I'd grab a box of LiceMD, just to be on the safe side.

Half Day Fun
But they managed to get through it. SoccerBoy grabbed "Bones" from his backpack, it's #4 and he read it in a few hours. He's just started on #5 now and is really into it, so much he doesn't hear me when I ask him to clean the living room. Course I think any child would do that. Right?
Little A is going through something lately, at first I thought it was him cutting his molars but not so much anymore. See anytime someone gets near me he becomes VERY territorial. By this I mean he throws a fit (lays on his back and kicks), I've never seen this before out of any of my kids or ever for that matter. Sure I've heard of kids doing this but I thought it was a figure of speech. But why is he so territorial? He is more like the center of attention with his siblings.
BabyGirl is coming down with something, hope she gets better soon. Very mood, by this I mean very sensitive.
BalletGirl is just enjoying life and seems to have a secret (not-so-secret) crush on the boy across the street. It's cute, but it must stay like this, she's too young. BabyGirl got to make her first friend, a boy that just turned 5. He asked her if she'd ask her sister to be his girlfriend. OUCH. Yeah, she was a bit upset.
How are you and your kids doing? The hubb? He's taking college classes, woo hoo! I'll be joining him this fall.

One of my Blogs were Marked as Spam
1. I did have two posts to start it off. One as a welcome to my blog and the second was on weather. I did mention a few ways someone could enjoy the outdoors. I tried writing a post because a kid came to my door asking to mow the lawn so I posted a few businesses out here for lawn service. Besides that though I didn't link so not sure where I went wrong. Be careful.
My Question: I see it says lots of links. Every Tuesday and Thursday I post tons of links. Am I going to be targeted for that?
It'll take about four days for them to review the blog and decide to keep it locked or unlock it. This is quite frightening to me as I have quite a few blogs and am worried what if they think one of my more popular blogs are spam. Homemom3 for instance is my baby, I have almost 1000 posts here and daily traffic but what would happen if they thought it was spam?
Anyways just wanted to warn ya'll in case something happens to anymore of my blogs and for your own benefit. Hoping this gets resolved soon. I hate Spam blogs as it is, try to delete any even in my comment section. ERrrr.

Visit NovaSure's Dare to Wear White
First, currently I'm not having periods, thank goodness. I hate those things, course what women ever loved them right. Sure, it's a good reason to eat up all the chocolate in the house and send the husband out for more. But honestly we hate it, a big reason is the blood. How many of you have ever ruined a pair of underwear because of "that time of the month"? Any hands?
Before having kids I'd have a regular period, or what I'm guessing is regular. You know it was one time of month type of thing, however after my first child (more than 12 years ago) I'd experience something different. I'd end up with 3 periods in a month, I'd become exhausted and irritated very easily. There was no one to talk with and doctors had no clue what to do, course my doctors were also male. Like they understood how it felt to be a woman and go through this and have men trying to tell me how I should feel.
A secret? Did you know that 1 out of 5 women experience heavy periods? Yeah me neither, I knew there were some of us out there but not many, at least not many that talked about it. Do you ever wonder if something is wrong? How many women out there have heavy periods? What could be wrong? There is a Q&A section for just these questions.
Mom Central recently surveyed more than 1,300 "everyday moms" who indicated they have heavy periods and discovered some astounding insights:
· 75% of women reported that their heavy periods negatively impact their quality of
life by disrupting their family and social life, regular activities, and moods.
· Almost 60% said that their periods negatively affect their sexual relationships.
· And what's worse, more than 50% of women with heavy periods said that they dread
leaving the house on their worst days.
NovaSure is here to help those of us that have already had children and would like to STOP the heavy periods. Sounds like a dream-come-true right? Well, it is. I haven't got it done yet but I'm definitely looking into it. You should too.
Currently there is a survey and for those of you that take part the first 250 are eligible to win a $10 Amazon GC. Hurry before it's too late.

Meeting the Neighbors
Yes, she's desperate, it's been a while in the house and we haven't met anyone, no neighbors. We did meet our brand new neighbor the first week she moved in but we barely see her anymore. She works so it isn't here much, the only time I know she's here is after 3 p.m. when her kid comes home and the walls begin to bounce. Yeah, they like their music and many times it doesn't stop until after 3 a.m. That's right a.m. not p.m.
Well we quickly got dressed, looked out and they were still there so we walked down to introduce ourselves. Only problem is the children are either too old for her or just right for her baby brother. Well, I guess we just wait until the next neighbor spotting. I can see her watching out the window now.

Things Kids Say
"Mom, why do we put cow poop on our plants?"
Yes, she overheard us talk about manure and asked what it was, from there she realized manure was cow poop. Ikk.
"Umm, because it helps stuff grow." Thinking she'd drop it now I went back to my research.
"Ewwwww, that means my tomatoes come from poop?"
Looking a bit confused, "No, honey. Tomatoes come from seeds."
"But mom you put poop over my seeds! You make me eat poop!"
Yeah and just how do I clear this one up? I did try telling her it doesn't grow in it because it comes out of it and is formed through the leaves. Now she says she'll never eat potatoes because those don't come out, they stay in it.

Littlest Pet Shop VIP Pet
The moment the box came in the house I had a swarm of kids wanting to see what was inside, but today I'll only chat about one of the items. The rest will come later this week. Keep in mind when this came I had four kids that were sick, it was spring break and two had ear infections. Let me tell ya it isn't fun trying to find them something to do when no one is a happy camper. I opened the box and immediately the two girls were all over the Littlest Pet Shop items. First there was a digital pen, then a set of digital pets that came with little hats and finally was the Littlest Pet Shop VIP Bunny

The Littlest Shop VIP Bunny is extremely soft and her ears or like silk. Inside the little pet collar is a code, take it off to get the code so your child can play the games. Take the code and visit the Site, register and adopt your pet and go exploring. You'll end up getting "Kibble Coins" to buy your pets stuff. Games they can play at the Littlest Pet Shop Headquarters:
Soccer
mini golf
fitness center
racing
There were actually six Littlest Pet Shop VIP Pets: (even more before now)
VIP Bunny
VIP Butterfly
VIP Horse
VIP Monkey
VIP Pig
VIP Lady Bug
BabyGirl has basically taken claim on the VIP Bunny, which she has named "Cutie Pie." Oh and she sleeps with her every night, during the day they are in the same room together and she is old enough to understand most of the games. Granted she does need my help a bit.
Each pet costs $14.99 which makes for a very happy kid and mommy/daddy will be happy to pay such a low amount when their child gets to have a plush/stuffed animal, able to play an online game (free with purchase of doll) and adds to their child's collection.
