Day after Halloween and Nano Begins

Wow, last night was a blast, but what Halloween isn't right. Okay, so I didn't actually dress up but I dressed the little baby inside me up. That's right, I actually did it, errrr, actually my husband did it. He painted a giant eyeball around the belly, with a yellow eye and little bloodshot things. Did people notice, yes. Oh and I cut up a shirt to do it, not to worry though the shirt was already too small. I took the scissors and sliced it up the middle. While hubby and the kids went out trick-or-treating I stayed home and passed the candy. I wasn't going to fall again this year.

The kids were dressed in their costumes, daddy brought over the spraypaint or whatever those can of hair color are called. Both girls got their hair colored. My little Vampira changed her beautiful blonde hair to black with pink highlights. Her facing drooping with blood. The little princess wanted to be like her sister, I had to paint her face white with a bit of blood, so she was known as the dead princess. Their brother, haha, wore his zorro cape and his hair sprayed blue. Remember his hair was recently cut into a mohawk.

Not many kids come down our street so those that did actually got LOTS of candy. Some were afraid of the belly and others didn't want to go near my screaming car, I just went out and bought a Halloween CD with noises like chopping up people and screeching cats.

Kids came home with LOTS of loot even though most houses were empty, but they had a BLAST. That's all that matters right? In the end we went out to eat, who knew they'd stay out so long I wouldn't want to cook. hehehe.

But today is a new day, it's a NANO day. I know now you are wondering what the heck a nano day is. Well a nano day is actually the entire month of November. You sit on your butt and write a novel. For more information go to www.nanowrimo.org and sign up. Do you have what it takes?
